About the Skating Rink

What once began as a temporary winter activity has since grown into a beloved tradition. This season, thousands of visitors came to the Museumplein Ice Rink to enjoy skating fun, gezelligheid, and the unique winter atmosphere. Even those who didn’t lace up their skates felt welcome at the hospitality area Het Wak and during the many activities around the rink.

We look back on a season filled with wonderful moments, from sensory-friendly skating sessions and curling to atmospheric packages, children’s parties, and collaborations with partners such as the Sven Kramer Academy. Sport, fun, and connection came together at this special location in the city.

Thanks to you, it was a winter we’ll never forget, and we can’t wait to open our doors again next year and create new memories together on Museumplein.
