The rink is for everyone. Children taking their first careful steps on the ice, groups of friends skating together, families making a winter afternoon of it and colleagues meeting up after work.
Throughout the season, there is plenty happening on and around the ice. Alongside public skating, the programme includes activities such as curling and events for children. We also work with partners including the Sven Kramer Academy, and there are various options for schools, groups and companies looking to take to the ice together.
There is just as much reason to visit without putting on a pair of skates. At ’t Wak, you can stop by for hot chocolate, drinks, lunch or dinner. Take a seat indoors, under the covered part of the terrace or outside overlooking the rink. It is just as much a place to meet up, catch up or simply spend some time in the middle of Museumplein.
And that combination is exactly what makes Museumplein Ice Rink so special. Skating for those who want to take to the ice, and plenty to enjoy around the rink for those who prefer to stay on the sidelines.
