House Rules – Museumplein Ice Rink

Welcome to the Museumplein Ice Rink!
To keep things safe, pleasant, and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask you to respect the following house rules. Anyone who violates these rules may be denied entry.

Entry & Tickets

  • Access to the ice rink is only permitted with a valid entrance ticket or access pass.
  • The hospitality area is free to enter; no ticket is required.
  • The organization reserves the right to deny entry without explanation.
  • Skating sessions have a maximum duration of 2 hours. This may be extended if crowd levels allow.

Conduct & Safety

  • Always follow the instructions of staff and security.
  • CCTV surveillance is in operation.
  • Security checks may take place at the entrance.
  • Please behave in a way that does not cause inconvenience to other visitors or local residents.
  • The entire area is smoke-free. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted outside the hospitality area and ice rink.

Personal Belongings & Liability

  • Bringing your own food, drinks, alcohol, glassware, or flammable materials is not allowed.
  • Pets are not permitted, except for assistance dogs.
  • Exceptions for medical reasons should be reported to First Aid or security staff.
  • You visit the rink at your own risk. The organization is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property, or for any injury.

Safety & Equipment

  • Weapons or objects that can be used as weapons are prohibited.
  • Drugs, nitrous oxide, and other illegal substances are strictly forbidden.
  • Professional photo or video equipment (including large cameras, tripods, drones, etc.) requires prior approval. Small cameras and mobile phones are allowed.

Accessibility

  • The ice rink is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Where possible, wide entrances are provided. Mobility aids such as wheelchairs and crutches are permitted.
  • Bringing your own chairs or heavy furniture is not allowed; sufficient seating is available on site.

Other Rules

  • A valid ID may be requested.
  • Commercial activities without permission are prohibited.
  • We do not serve alcohol to anyone under 18. ID may be required.
  • The organization reserves the right to update these rules at any time; the most recent version always applies.
  • Ticket cancellations or refunds are only possible according to the applicable terms and conditions; in many cases, refunds are not available.
